May 2, 2012
Effective June 1, 2012 RBC is altering our rate structure to match much of the industry and will now hold rates for 30 days at a time. RBC will give a minimum of 7 days’ notice on rate increases. Attached is the rate matrix for June 2012. As always, RBC strives to provide IMCs with a user friendly service and a good value. RBC provides free chassis at all US locations and has minimized any split terminations (which are limited to live lift rail operations exclusively).
I’ve also attached the revised Rules Circular which incorporates the new time frame (Item 24.4 and Item 24.7). Also changed in the Rules Circular is Item 8.2, where RBC stipulates that IMCs who are cancelling billing with RBC should ensure that they receive an email from RBC confirming that billing has been cancelled. This is an additional check and balance to prevent any misunderstandings between the IMC and RBC with regards to cancelled billing.
Thank you very much for your business.
