Item 12 - Prohibited/Restricted Commodities
  1. In addition to the restrictions referenced by Item 3, RBL specifically prohibits shipments of the following commodities:
    1. Metal Coils
    2. Stone slabs
    3. Motor Vehicles
  2. In addition to the restrictions referenced by Item 3, the following items are restricted on RBL and may not be shipped without prior approval by RBL.
    1. Metal Coils under 3500 lbs per coil, originating on all railroads except UP. Metal Coils under 3500 lbs originating on UP are not restricted.
    2. Any commodities requiring a bladder bag insert or flexiliner; and,
    3. Any commodity listed as "restricted" by the railroads, unless Shipper has received written authorization from RBL in advance of the shipment.
  3. In addition to the restrictions referenced by Item 3, RBL will arrange for carriage of the following commodities but will not file a claim in excess of $100,000 per container for wet damage on behalf of the Shipper where Shipper alleges that a defect in the "K" Line container was the cause of wet damage.
    1. Processed tobacco/tobacco products
    2. Bottled spirits
    3. Precious jewelry/ precious metal
    4. Valuable works of art
    5. Thoroughbred horses
    6. Computers/handheld electronic products/mobile telephones (and electronic components of these)
  4. In addition to the restrictions referenced by Item 3, RBL will arrange for carriage of Household Goods but will not file a claim for wet damage on behalf of the Shipper where Shipper alleges that a defect in the "K" Line container was the cause of wet damage. "K" Line does not accept liability for Household Goods.
